I'm Jigar. I started StreetRomeo in 2017 in Surat after planning my own Thailand trip — every travel company sold the same generic packages, none of them interested in making the traveller feel locally engaged. Year one we planned trips for 32 travellers.
My brother Maulik moved to Europe in 2022 to handle ground operations on the continent. I still visit Europe personally every 7–8 months — we don't add a country until we've stood in it. Nine years later, we've crossed 3,000 travellers with direct contracting in 60+ countries. No investors, no marketing budget — just trips, family by family.
