    Travellers we sent

    Aditya & Sneha, Mumbai

"I thought Paris was overhyped until I saw the Eiffel Tower light up. It’s a cliché for a reason. Romeo's pick for a hotel in Le Marais was the real winner though."

    — Aditya & Sneha, Mumbai
    Vikram, Software Lead from BLR

"The South of France in September is heaven. No crowds, warm water, and the best rosé I've ever tasted. Worth every rupee!"

    — Vikram, Software Lead from BLR
    The Kapadias, Ahmedabad

"We did a self-drive in the Loire Valley. Seeing the castles and staying in a converted manor felt like a movie. France is more than just Paris."

    — The Kapadias, Ahmedabad

    Common questions

How hard is the visa for Indians in 2026?+
The multi-year Schengen visa is getting easier for Indians with frequent travel history, but start 3 months early—VFS slots fill up faster than hot jalebis.
    When should I actually go?+
Avoid July/August if you hate crowds and sweating in the Metro. Late April for spring blooms or late September for wine harvest is the sweet spot.
I'm vegetarian. Will I survive on just bread?+
Absolutely! From Michelin-starred veg menus in Paris to easy wood-fired pizzas and massive salads, you won't starve. Most creperies have great veg options.
Is it as expensive as people say?+
Paris is expensive, yes. But the rest of the country can be quite reasonable. Budget ₹2.5L to ₹4L per person for a proper, non-backpacker experience.
Do I need to speak French? Swamy says no.+
A simple 'Bonjour' and 'Merci' goes a long way. Use Google Translate’s camera feature for menus and you’ll be fine. Parisians appreciate the effort.
Best way to fly from India?+
Direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Paris (CDG). If you're coming from Bangalore or Ahmedabad, you'll likely hop through Dubai or Doha.
