In 2017, I was planning my own Thailand trip when I noticed something. Every travel company sold the same generic packages — same hotels, same dance shows, same shopping stops. None of them seemed interested in making the traveller feel locally engaged.
I figured I could plan better trips than what was being sold to me. So I started doing it — first for friends, then for their families. In year one we planned trips for 32 travellers.
By 2019 I was personally travelling to Russia and the CIS countries to scout new routes and meet ground operators. We crossed 125 travellers a year.
Then COVID happened. When borders reopened in 2021, we moved into Europe — and we haven't looked back. My brother Maulik moved to Europe in 2022 to handle ground operations directly.
In 2025 we launched DuringTrips.com — our in-house trip companion app with trip-specific AI. And here in 2026, we've crossed 3,000 travellers in nine years, with direct contracting in 60+ countries.
