Do Indians need a visa for Turkey?+

Yes, as of 2026, Indian passport holders with a valid UK, USA, or Schengen visa can apply for an e-Visa online. Otherwise, you need a sticker visa via VFS. We handle the paperwork for you.

Is it easy to find vegetarian/Jain food?+

Easily. Outside the meat-heavy kebabs, you get Pide (Turkish pizza), Menemen, and plenty of Lentil soup (Mercimek Çorbası). Even Jain options can be managed in big cities like Istanbul and Cappadocia.

How many days are enough for Turkey?+

9 to 11 days is the sweet spot. 3 days for Istanbul, 3 for Cappadocia, and 3-4 for the southern coast (Antalya/Kas/Fethiye).

Is Turkey safe for families and solo women?+

Absolutely. Turkey is very tourist-friendly. While people are warm, stick to standard travel safety. Avoid sketchy alleys in Taksim late at night, just like you'd avoid them in any global city.

Which airlines fly to Istanbul from India?+

Indigo and Turkish Airlines fly direct from Delhi and Mumbai. From Ahmedabad or Bangalore, you usually fly via Doha, Dubai, or Muscat.

Should I carry Lira from India?+

Lira is volatile. Carry USD or Euros and exchange them there, or use a multi-currency Forex card. Avoid exchanging at the airport!
