    Do Indians need a visa for Mauritius?+
    No. Indian passport holders get visa-free entry for up to 60 days. You need a valid passport, return ticket, hotel confirmation and proof of funds.
    Mauritius or Maldives — which is better?+
    Maldives for pure overwater honeymoons; Mauritius for variety — beach + mountains + culture + food. Mauritius is also 30-50% cheaper at comparable luxury levels.
    Is vegetarian/Jain food easy to find?+
    Very easy. With a 70% Indian-origin population, pure veg and Jain food are common in cities and most resorts arrange it on request.
    How many days for Mauritius?+
    6-8 nights is ideal. 2-3 nights on one coast for resort relaxation, then 2-3 nights on another with sightseeing.
    When should I go?+
    May to December is dry and pleasant. Avoid January-March cyclone risk. October-November is peak honeymoon season.
    Is Mauritius safe?+
